I found this great little gem hiding in the youtube search results and thought it was too good not to post.

Lost Season 4 Trailer

Thursday, January 3rd, 2008

The trailer for season 4 was released last month by ABC and it looks set to hand us yet more mystery and little in the way of answers.

I read that the writers planned the 16 episode series as an 8 episode setup and and 8 episode revelation, but since the writer’s strike is ongoing with only the first 8 episodes ready to air it may be that we’re left hanging unintentionally.

That said, the trailer appears quite exciting - if much of the same - so hopes are high for a great season.

If only someone would actually pay the writers their due.

The band of friends, enemies and strangers continue to work together to stay alive. But as they have discovered during their 70-plus days on the island, danger and mystery loom behind every corner, and those they thought could be trusted may turn against them. Even heroes have secrets.

The Story So Far - Lost Series Recap

Thursday, January 3rd, 2008

Well, season 4 of Lost kicks off this January 31st. This is an amusing video recap of the entire story up to now in 8 minutes, 15 seconds. It’s no substitute for watching the series, but it will catch you up if you got bored half way though season 3, like me.

The Finale is Upon Us

Tuesday, May 24th, 2005

It seems the time has come for the final episode of Lost for this series. It’s been an interesting ride so far, and I hope they don’t leave far too much hanging out in the open.

We know there’s going to be a second series beginning in the fall, so there’s no worries of cancellation. But, this brings new problems, in that the writers surely won’t want to answer all the questions we’ve been asking, so as to keep us waiting patiently for the second season.

In ‘Exodus, Part 1′ the penultimate episode in the first season of Lost, the hatch was revealed to everyone, the raft sets sail, with Micheal, Walt, Sawyer and Jin aboard, and Danielle the French Chick brought dire warning about ‘the others’. We find out that the huge invisible monster is some kind of security system, and we see the black rock for the first time. The plan is to steal dynamite to blast open the hatch - in the hope of finding refuge inside.

So the finale is set to be a gripping story. Who are the others, and when will they come? It seems pretty obvious they have some kind of interest in Claire’s baby. What will happen to our sailors out at sea? What’s inside the hatch? Is anyone going to die?

Most importantly, I want to know: What’s the deal with these damn numbers?

The 2 hour season finale of Lost airs Wednesday 25th May.

Exodus (Part 1) Episode 23, Promo download

Thursday, May 12th, 2005

A castaway’s omen about the looming monsoon season triggers a war for seats on the nearly completed raft and a possible plot against one of its architects. Meanwhile, Jack and Locke reach a tentative truce over that mysterious hatch, though neither Sayid nor Walt are at peace with the pair’s plans for it; and more of Kate’s past is revealed after the threat of rescue pits her against an all-too-informed Sawyer.

The truth about Kate continues to come out as the castaways draw battle lines in the sand. Fittingly it all starts with stormy weather. Realizing that the monsoon season will soon be upon them, Michael and Jin scramble to complete the raft in hopes of shoving off sooner rather than later. But dark clouds roll in after someone’s deadly move to secure themselves a seat on the boat casts suspicion on several survivors. Including Freckles herself. Though it looks as if she may be too busy recalling the tragic history of her toy plane to be bothered with such treachery.

Sneak peek at tonight’s episode!

Wednesday, May 4th, 2005

There are some excellent clips of tonight’s episode on Yahoo TV Sneak Peek. Watch Locke come clean to the group about how Boone died and be attacked by a furious Jack, see Claire and Charlie looking after the baby (nicknamed Turniphead by Charlie, “because his head looks like a turnip…”), watch Sayid confront Locke about the hatch, and best of all…

Hurley sings ‘I Feel Good’.

He has a pretty good voice, too.

The Hatch: Jack, Kate, Hurley & Locke view the hatch

New promo shots of the season finale (Exodus, Parts 2 & 3) seem to prove that Locke is NOT shot in ‘The Greater Good’ or at least not at all seriously wounded.

In the above picture we see Jack, Kate, Hurley and Locke examining the hatch for the first time. It looks like Locke has done a mighty job of excavating it since we last saw it! It looks to me like some kind of sealed container.

Did the light in the hatch have some effect on Locke? Will the hatch be opened before the end of the season? What will be inside?

The story continues tomorrow, May 4th on ABC. Don’t miss it!

More details on ‘The Greater Good’ episode 21

Monday, May 2nd, 2005

Kristin from over at E-Online.com reveals some more details about the storyline for the upcoming May 4th episode, ‘”The Greater Good”:

Claire is terrified that someone is going to take her baby. She refuses to let him out of her sight, so Sun and Charlie must plead with her to get some sleep. Once she agrees, Charlie is stuck with a crying kid, and turns to Hurley, who tries to help with a somewhat “unconventional” childcare method. During Boone’s burial service, Locke shows up and confesses that Boone’s death was “my fault.” He tells the truth about finding the plane lodged in the tree, and how Boone climbed up into it and found the radio. “He was trying to help us. He was a hero.” Jack won’t be satisfied and will attack Locke right then and there, screaming “Where were you?! What did you do to him?! You just left him to die!”

Should Locke be blamed for Boone’s death? He seems to be getting more shady by the minute, but his numerous good deeds redeem him somewhat. What is his connection with the island?

Did something happen when Locke “saw into the eye of the island, and it was beautiful.”? Is Locke affected by the ’sickness’ that Danielle Rousseau claims forced her to kill her science team colleagues?
